Memorial Tree Program
The City of Avon Memorial Tree Program, is a lasting tribute while enhancing our natural environment in our beautiful City Parks. Purchase a tree in memory of a loved one, to dedicate to a friend or family member, or to commemorate a special event. Neighbors and guests in our Parks share that remembrance and harmony for present and future generations.
Trees can be planted at the following Parks:
- Eagle Point Park
- Every Child's Playground
- Northgate Park
- Schwartz Park
- Veterans Memorial
Cost:
The tree price is $395 and includes the cost of planting, staking, mulch and care. It also includes an engraved paver. Tree is guaranteed for 1 year. Plantings take place in the spring and fall seasons.
Memorial Bench Program
The City of Avon Memorial Bench Program offers a meaningful way to honor and remember friends and loved ones. Purchasing a bench promotes a connection to the community while also enhancing The City of Avon’s Parks with a thoughtful tribute.
We currently have benches available at Every Child’s Playground. You may also request a bench to be placed in another City Park, but the benches exact location will be chosen by the Avon Parks and Recreation Department.
Benches will be 6ft. in length and are made from composite, recycled materials
Cost:
$500, includes bench, installation and commemorative plaque
