The Avon Senior Center provides programs and activities for anyone 55 and over. The center provides a multitude of services, including educational seminars, health screenings, trips, social events and transportation to serve the approximately 5,000 senior adults in Avon and surrounding communities.

The Avon Senior Center Transportation Program (PDF) is an unassisted, curb-to-curb service available to Avon's older adult residents who have no alternate means of transportation.
When the weather is bad, Transportation Services will run only if road conditions are deemed safe.

The Avon Senior Center Social Worker, Carrie Rae, MSW, LISW-S, is available to provide support, information, resources and referrals to Avon senior residents and their families. For more information, please call 440-934-7975.
The Senior Buzz is published bi-monthly and is mailed to all Senior Center members. It is also available online.
When the weather is bad, the Senior Center will be closed and notify will be listed on Channel 3 and Channel 5's news stations closing lists. When in doubt, always call the Center, 440-934-2417 before leaving the house. Transportation Services will run only if road conditions are deemed safe.
